The Rev. Dr. Allen D. Timm
Executive Presbyter
Allen joined the Presbytery staff in January of 2004 as the
Executive Presbyter. The Executive Presbyter is the
primary administrative officer of the Presbytery and has oversight
for its congregations, projects, vision, mission directions & goals.

Brenda Jarvis
Associate Executive Presbyter for Congregational Outreach and Nurture
Brenda is an Elder at Garden City Presbyterian Church and is currently under
care of the Committee on Preparation for Ministry, as a candidate awaiting ordination.
She joined the Presbytery staff in August 2003 to assist the Presbytery
in motivating its members through implementation of mission and leadership development
ministries, encourage proclamation of the Gospel for the salvation of humankind and
promote social righteousness in the context of global, national and local mission.

The Rev. Edward Koster
Stated Clerk
Ed has served as Stated Clerk for two consecutive terms and was recently
re-elected to a third term. He attends Ann Arbor First Presbyterian
Church, as Stated Clerk he records the transactions of the Presbytery,
keeps rolls, and interprets the constitution and rules in accordance
with the Book of Order.

Beverly A. Knox
Executive Assistant
Beverly is an Elder at Detroit Calvary Presbyterian Church. She has
been employed by the Presbytery of Detroit since 1981 her work responsibilities
include clerical assistance to the Executive Presbyter, as well as
support to various presbytery committees.

Sandy Jensen
Office Manager
Sandy is a member of Greenfield Presbyterian Church, Berkley. Sandy
began working at the Presbytery office on October 24, 1994 as the
Receptionist. Graduate of Oakland University, Rochester Hills, MI
with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems
from the School of Business Administration. Her responsibilities include
but are not limited to the computer system, telephone system, directory,
annual statistical records, presbytery meeting attendance tracking, web site, background checks,
and special communications.

Artheillia Thompson
Hunger Action Coordinator
Artheillia is an elder member of Detroit Westminster Presbyterian
Church. Her responsibilities include staffing the Hunger Ministries
Support Team, facilitating congregations in addressing needs of hunger,
poverty, and homelessness in the communities of metro-Detroit she
also coordinate the Synod Annual Health Fairs, Artheillia has been
apart of the Presbytery staff since January, 1983.

Joanne Higgins
Resource Center Director
Joanne is an elder at Detroit, Hope Presbyterian Church, she has been
employed by the Presbytery of Detroit since 1996.

Sharon Pacioni
Office Assistant
Sharon is a member of Allen Park Presbyterian Church she has been
employed by the Presbytery since 1979. Sharon is responsible for all
copying, folding, and mailing of materials for committees, council,
the presbytery as well Presbyterian woman, relieving the receptionist, and
meeting room set up.

Rhonda Barley
Clerical Assistant
Rhonda has been employed by the Presbytery of Detroit since September,
1999 her ministry here is to serve, her goal is to assist every person
to the best of her ability so that Our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified
through her.
